Safariwale jungle safari expedition
Our Story & Naturalist Ethos

Born in the Jungle, Built for Wildlife Lovers

Safariwale began with a simple obsession: the moment a tiger steps out of the bamboo and the whole forest holds its breath. Founder Siddhesh Mungekar spent years chasing that moment across Tadoba, Panna and Kanha, camera in hand, before realising that most travellers miss it because their safari was planned by someone who had never sat in that jeep.

So we built a company around the people who had. Since 2017, Safariwale has guided photographers, families and first-time safari-goers into India’s finest tiger reserves, and beyond to the plains of Kenya.

“Our vision: to make every safari a memory for the guest and a benefit for the forest. That means tourism that funds local livelihoods, respects every animal’s space, and turns visitors into lifelong champions of conservation.”

Our Uncompromising Rules

What We Stand For

Safety

Registered vehicles, trained drivers, licensed guides and clear briefings before every drive. No shortcut is worth a risk.

Sustainability

We choose lodges that employ local people, cut single-use plastic and run responsibly, and we keep group sizes small.

Respect for Wildlife

Animals set the pace. We never chase, crowd, bait or block their path, and we never pressure a driver to break park rules.

Honesty

Wild animals keep their own schedules. We never promise a guaranteed sighting; we promise the best possible chance.

Community

A share of every season goes back to the forest through local school support, anti-poaching welfare contributions, and native tree planting.
